Chifley Tower has adopted a long term upgrade programme to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability features throughout the building.
Industry leading design consultants have been retained to develop a program to implement the September 2009 recommendations with an aim to deliver a significant uplift to the NABERS Energy rating. Initiatives may include centralising the air-conditioning plant with additional zoning and controls, an extensive upgrade of the lift controls and motors, new energy efficient lighting with sensor controls and a planned gas-fired co-generation plant.
